State Wars 2005 Recap: "The AAA championship game would leave little doubt as to who the top '05 team in the country was last summer, as Southern California would once again put together an impressive game. Long time coach Scott Accongio would keep his foot on the gas for most of the game, pushing his players to play hard.  So Cal stud Philippe Lalonde (So Cal) would score 7 points in the effor and take home the "Alkali Hockey Most Valuable Player Award", as So Cal would cruise to a 10-2 victory and would enjoy the long trip back out west with beautiful gold hanging around their necks.  Noah Ziskie (MI) and Matthew Waring (MI) would be in the minority of players able to score on Woolcott this tourney.  Dakoda Rheaume (MI) would play admirably in net, but would be under attack most of the game."
